Paying with USDT (Tether)
Last updated: 31 July 2026
Claude Store accepts USDT on TRON (TRC20) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). They are separate networks with separate token contracts. Choose one at checkout, then match the network, recipient, token contract and exact amount on the private payment page.
- Typical fee
- Varies by wallet or exchange
- Confirmation
- Usually minutes
What to watch for
- Choose TRC20 or BEP20 at checkout and match that network exactly in your wallet or exchange.
- USDT is dollar-pegged, so the amount cannot move against you while the payment confirms.
- Most peer-to-peer desks in North Africa, Nigeria and Pakistan quote in USDT, which is why it is the practical default.
Questions
Should I choose TRC20 or BEP20?
Choose the supported network your funds already use and compare your sender’s withdrawal fee. Never select one network in checkout and withdraw on the other.
What if I send USDT on the wrong network?
Funds sent on an unsupported network can be unrecoverable. Copy the network and token contract from the private payment page rather than assuming.
