How to Buy USDT in Algeria

Last updated: 2026-07-31

Most Algerians buy USDT on Binance P2P, paying in dinars by CCP or BaridiMob transfer, at roughly one to three percent above the parallel rate. The alternatives are a local exchanger taking cash in Algiers, Oran or Constantine, or a relative abroad sending USDT directly to your wallet. Always confirm the network — TRC20 costs about a dollar to move, ERC20 can cost twelve.

The three routes

  • Binance P2P — you buy from another user and pay in dinars by CCP or BaridiMob. The most common route. Filter for merchants with high completion rates and hundreds of trades, and never release funds before the transfer lands.
  • Local exchangers — cash in hand, USDT to your wallet. Verify reputation in person and start with a small amount. Convenient, and the spread is usually wider.
  • Family abroad — they buy on a regulated exchange and send USDT to your wallet address. Cheapest, and it needs someone you trust.

The mistakes that cost people money

  1. Sending on the wrong network. TRC20 and ERC20 addresses look similar and funds sent to the wrong one are usually gone.
  2. Releasing funds on a P2P trade before the bank transfer actually clears.
  3. Buying exactly the amount you need, then having nothing left for the network fee.
  4. Trading with a brand-new counterparty for a large first order.

Buy a couple of dollars more than the invoice. The network fee comes out of your balance, and an underpaid invoice is slower to resolve than an overpaid one.

What does a month of Claude Pro cost in dinars?

Anthropic’s list price is $20. A prepaid code from us is $24. Converted at the parallel rate most Algerians actually pay for USDT, that lands around 7,000–7,600 DZD as of July 2026, plus about a dollar of network fee. Rates move constantly — treat this as an estimate and check the day’s P2P rate before you commit.

Frequently asked

Is buying USDT legal in Algeria?

Algerian law restricts cryptocurrency and it operates in a grey area in practice. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice — understand your own position before you trade, because we cannot assess it for you.

Which network should I use to pay an invoice?

TRC20 unless you have a specific reason otherwise. It confirms in one to two minutes and costs about a dollar, against three to twelve on ERC20 for the same transfer.

How long does the whole process take?

A P2P purchase takes five to thirty minutes depending on your counterparty. Our invoice confirms one to two minutes after you send, and we deliver in about 41 minutes on median. Under two hours end to end is normal.
